Mads took me to Virginia over the weekend. Fun fun. Her Grandpa and Grandma have acres and acres and acres of property though. Kinda scary sometimes. It's just the idea that if you screamed, no one could hear you. -shudder-

Kay. So. Saturday morning I woke up at 5 and did all my packing. My mom would only let me bring one movie. It was either Silence of the Lambs, or Saw. And I spent 15 delirious minutes looking for Silence of the Lambs at 5:30 in the morning and couldn't find it. So Saw it was.

Side note: Y'know, it's pretty bad that this was my first trip to VA with Mads and my first time meeting any of her family (which included her Aunt Serena and Uncle Tim #2 who are married. Adam, who is their kid. Aunt Isabelle and Uncle Tim #1, who helped us start the fire. Her Grandma and Grandpa, and her mom's boyfriend), aside from her Mom and Dad, when I've been friends with her for four years now. Sheesh, even Sam and Kel went down there before me. I think it was Kel first, and then Sam, and then me.

Anyway, Mads got here around 6 and on my way of running out to the car with my bags and trying to lock the door at the same time, I knocked down the Halloween decorations. XD

It was a four hour drive there, but I fell back to sleep in the car for a good two hours of it. Eventually we stopped to get hoagies and chocolate chip cookies and her mom bought baloney.. for only God knows why. It was a "present." Anyway, we ate on the way over there.

Uhm.. I think we watched The Outsiders almost immediately after unpacking.. no wait.

Mads wanted to wait for her Uncle Tim #1 who is married to her Aunt Isabelle to get there to watch The Outsiders. So we were flipping through the limited T.V. channels.

We watched mostly stuff on Kewlopolis.... :B We found a Care Bear's show. The only ones I recognized on my limited knowledge of Care Bears was Fun Shine Bear, Grumpy Bear, Cheer Bear, and Share Bear. I don't think I liked Cheer Bear very much. She vaguely annoyed me. But now we've got some quotes from the show.

"This is Kinda weird." -Fun Shine Bear
"This isn't snow. This is no snow." -Grumpy Bear.. after sniffing the snow
"I wish they wouldn't throw trash in me."
"That's because you're a trash can."
"Oh yeah!" -a big blue thing and a little pink thing that made the no snow

And yeah. lol. Fun Shine Bear is my favorite.<3

And then we were watching some dog show thingy. And we were naming who was who on the show. Dale was the main character dog who made food out of garbage... ugh. Don't ask.

And then there was some show that we watched for five minutes with the theme quote being "Go Dino!"

And a few other creepy little kids shows that only little kids out in the wilderness would ever watch because they don't get good reception on T.V. lol

And and and we watched some weird fairy show. lol. I think it was called Winx or something.

Then we watched The Outsiders with her Uncle Tim #1.

And then we had lunch. Soup stuffs her Grandma made. It was okay. >.>

OMG! Her Grandpa read Twilight. XD

And then we went upstairs and were looking through magazines and listening to Mads IPod. :3

Yeah.. And then we went for a walk. It was gorgeous out there. Miles of just.. nothing.

It was wet though. It was raining on the way over there and all the way up to that point. It honestly kinda made me think of Twilight.

We passed the lake where two peeps died because they were drunk and trespassing.

And we got to the little Cabin thing in the woods where two slaves had run away and built it. They didn't even finish it apparently. And they had a baby. They all slowly got eaten by rats. And now a bear lives there. There's grave markers next to the house for them all. We couldn't actually see it through the trees, and we couldn't go over there to see it because it was all wet and muddy. But apparently we will next time. And anyway, I forgot to bring a camera.

We didn't walk very far because I was tired, so we headed back.

And then.. we watched Sleeping Beauty. lol Yeah. We're dorks. It was fun though.

And then.. I think we just milled around and bothered people. I love her Aunt Serena. She felt like part of my family. She made the yummy dinner.

We had dinner and cake.<3 It was good. Spaghetti. And the cake was chocolate. Mmm. After eating all of that I felt like the buttons on my pants were gonna fly off.

The cake was for her Grandma's and her Mom's birthday. Sheesh. Why do I always seem to go places with people when it's one of their family member's birthdays?

Then we milled around some more and watched her mom open her presents.

..actually. I think we ate dinner, milled around, opened presents, and then had the cake. ...whatever.

Then I was complaining of being tired, so Mads ignored me and we milled around SOME MORE. rofl

Then when people started leaving we started the fire. Oh it was so relaxing.

We kept having to go outside and get more wood though. And it was creepy scary. Pitch black.

Oh, and at one point after dinner we went outside and we were looking at the stars. It was beautiful. No one for miles around, so you could see them so much better. We didn't stay out there for long though. Snakes.

After everyone left we put on our pajamas and fell asleep in front of the fire.

This morning though, Mads mom woke us up at like, I think it was 5. I don't know. There's no service out there so I turned off my phone and left it in my purse. And there are like no clocks there. So I kept losing track of time. I think we fell asleep around 11.

Anyway.

We took like 10 minutes to go upstairs and pack up and pee and then we bolted out the door. I don't understand why we left so fast.

Oh and, I didn't eat all of my hoagie. Mads said to save some of it just in case I didn't like dinner. "Never know what Grandma's cooking." XD I guess Grandma's not really a good cook, huh.

But yeah. Then I fell asleep for the four hour drive home.

I got home around 9:30. Ate bagels. And watched The Ring. lol. I know. xp

It's 1:33 now. And yes, I think I've been typing this out for almost an hour because The Ring was over at 12:30. XD

Mm. Yeah. Not very interesting. But I needed another journel. I never come on here anymore. Next time I go to VA with Mads though I've got to remember to bring a camera, a board game, maybe a deck of cards, and Silence of the Lambs. lol

I still smell like fireplace.<3
